1. Eligibility

AVEO is intended for users aged 13 and over. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account or use another user's account. AVEO accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• –Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• –Post spam, fraudulent content, or misleading information.
• –Attempt to access another user's data without authorisation.
• –Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the AVEO service or its backend.
• –Use AVEO for any unlawful purpose.

4. Content

Activity logs, goals, notes, comments, and other content you submit remain yours. By submitting content, you grant AVEO a limited licence to store and display it to the people you have chosen to share it with (friends, community members) as part of providing the service.

5. Reporting and Moderation

AVEO provides in-app tools to report content, comments, or users that violate these terms. We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion. We are not obligated to act on every report or to inform reporters of the outcome.

6. Service Availability

AVEO is provided as-is. We aim to keep the service running but make no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or feature availability. AVEO may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AVEO and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. In no event shall AVEO's total aggregate liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to AVEO in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) €100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AVEO and its developers from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and legal fees (including reasonable solicitors' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the app; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) any content you submit, share, or transmit through AVEO.

9. Termination

You may stop using AVEO and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as AVEO changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or support email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
